Jesus Valdez's Farmers Insurance Agency is hiring an Insurance Sales Representative to join our growing team!

Our insurance agency is located in Simi Valley, CA, and we're up to big things! We provide Auto, Home, Business, and Life insurance to help protect our clients, and their assets. Not only will you learn the ins and outs of the insurance industry, you will also have the opportunity to career path into a leadership role; and for entrepreneurial minded individuals, a long term career path leading towards business ownership.

Salary: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:  

• Monday to Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales
• Communicating with our hot leads
• Establish client relationships and follow up with clients, as needed
• Understanding prospects needs and identifying sales opportunities
• Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers
• Explaining and demonstrating the benefits of our services
• Staying informed about competing products and services
• Ability to achieve high sales targets
• Having a ton of fun while being part of a competitive team!

Is prior insurance sales experience required?
No! You don't need to know anything about insurance or insurance sales to apply. We provide all of the product and sales training that you'll need to be successful!

Requirements

• Sales experience or a client-facing background is a plus
• Insurance experience is preferred, but not required
• Proven track record of trustworthiness, dependability, and ethical behavior
• Must be coachable
• Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, and listening
• Must have strong interpersonal communication skills
• Must be motivated and determined
• Reliably commute (Simi Valley, CA) or planning to relocate before starting work
