Job Description

Our independent office is growing and we are looking to add an Account Manager. Our office is team-oriented and community driven. Our sales department and service department work together to ensure the success of each of our clients. As our new Account Manager, you will be responsible in helping our clients be successful, learning our agency management system, learning our carrier markets, completing applications and sending binders to our current clients and occasional cross-selling. 

Must already have obtained your Property & Casualty License.

Responsibilities

• Learning agency management system and familiarizing with carrier markets.
• Completing applications and questionnaires. 
• Issuing binders and identification cards (occasional commercial policies).
• Working with peers or managers to address issues/concerns.
• Review current policies upon renewal (review coverage and make recommendations to help save).
• Process/handling claims. 
• Processing endorsements/verifying accuracy
• Perform other duties as required

Requirements

• Must already have obtained your Property & Casualty License. 
• 1-3 year of experience working within the insurance industry. 
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills. 
• Have the ability to multitask.
• Strong and proficient computer skills (for everyday use and utilizing management system).
• Detail oriented & organized with the ability to focus in a fast-paced environment.
• High School diploma required & 2 or 4-year degree is a bonus.
