Job Description

Customer Service Representative welcomes all customers as our agency's first point of contact. This position appreciates an individual with ''people skills'' who can enhance relationships with our existing clients while attending to their policy service needs. We are looking for a team player who values a stable and flexible work environment and can make our clients feel appreciated. The ideal person will be confident, organized and career minded.

Salary: $42,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service to existing clients.
  • Process documents, payments and policy change transactions.
  • Clarify billing concerns for clients
  • Process policy ''alerts'' which notify agency of potential policy issues.
  • Contact policy holders at renewal and update policies as needed.
  • Consult with clients to identify potential cross-sell opportunities.

Requirements

  • Confident, self-starter with great memory and ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent written, verbal and computer skills.
  • Associate degree in related field of study OR High school degree with related job experience
  • Possess OR be able to obtain a Michigan Property & Casualty insurance license.  (Licensing material and expenses provided by employer.)
