Job Description

The Andrew Harpole Exclusive Allstate Agency has an opening for a highly motivated Licensed Sales Agent to join our award-winning team.  As a full-time Licensed Sales Agent, you will help individuals, families, and small businesses secure their futures.

The purpose of this role is to generate sales to existing and prospective clients. This position is all about selling, marketing, and servicing our insurance products with the highest level of customer service and integrity.  Your success will be largely based on your motivation and hunger to win.  

Salary Range: $50,000 per year


What your typical day would look like:

  • Meeting sales production goals and objectives by prospecting and generating new business through warm leads and referral sources and up-selling existing customers based on their needs.
  • Developing insurance quotes, making sales presentations, and closing sales to new and existing customers, mainly via phone calls.
  • Fostering strong relationships with our customers to maintain a high level of client retention and product loyalty.
  • Prospecting for new business by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling, and lead databases.
  • Presenting and explaining insurance policy options based upon prospective client needs and their personal goals.



What you will need to be successful in this role:

  • A highly-competitive and persistent personality. You must want to win, with integrity, and possess a "closer" mentality.
  • An upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude. You must thrive in a competitive environment and not be easily discouraged.
  • The ability and desire to provide an extremely high-level of customer service to prospects and existing customers.
  • Prior sales experience.
  • Be able to obtain or currently possess a property & casualty insurance license.
  • Must complete a background check and submit professional references.
  • Be able to obtain or currently possess a property & casualty insurance license.


Bonus Points if:


  • You currently possess a Life & Health Insurance license in Texas.
  • You are bilingual in English and Spanish.
