Job Description

Our office is expanding and we are looking to hire the right individual to join our team. We are currently seeking to fulfill a full-time position and a career orientated individual. This position will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our current clients and new prospects, processing policy change requests, maintain knowledge of our products, and answer any questions our clients may have.

Insurance industry or office experience and knowledge is not required but would be a greater benefit relating to customers in the beginning for this position.

Salary: $32,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will be to assists the agency in handling customer service issues that arise from running an insurance agency.  Duties and responsibilities would include answering phones, navigating Farmers data systems, documenting, out bound calling customers, along with several other tasks. You will also be responsible to support the sales team in the processing of new business, maintaining current business accounts and finding sales opportunities from current clients.

You will also: Analyze, clarify, and resolve basic, intermediate and escalated policy and account related questions/transactions from external customers for all lines of business. Reviews problems and communicates with appropriate personnel to obtain information when necessary. Responds to customer inquiries through appropriate mediums. Provides an excellent customer experience by ensuring that policy transactions are issued and changes are processed accurately and in a timely manner. Objectively validates information provided for new business, endorsements and renewal transactions within defined scope of discretion. Develops effective working relationships with agents and other internal customers for all lines of business. Includes correspondence, phone calls and e-mail to gather and analyze necessary information critical to the underwriting function. Processes and inputs all necessary policy transactions through appropriate company systems. Enters key data or prepares worksheets as needed. Provide insurance quotes and information in a courteous and professional manner

On top of your salary you will be paid a split commission on any policy you write.
