Looking for a great sales opportunity? Personal and Commercial Lines Insurance sales is your answer. As an Independent Insurance Agent, you will be responsible for the effective management of existing customers along with the development and acquisition of new customers. You will be counted on for strategic development and growth of profitable existing customer relationships with a focus on retaining and selling new and featured products to ensure continued growth. This will involve promoting and marketing many different company products, with the overall goal of building the book of business.

Responsibilities

• Solicits for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
• Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations, and closes sales.
• Maintain knowledge of new products.
• Prospecting and generating new business through leads & referral sources.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Be outstanding at relationship building.
• Obtain prospects information such as name, address, vehicle information and enter into quote sheets.
• Prospects for new business by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling, and lead databases.

Requirements

• Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
• Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.
• Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.
• A Property & Casualty license is preferred but will train good individual.
• Professional phone etiquette.
• Career minded vision.
• Great Customer Service Skills.
• Minimum 3-5 years prior sales experience is preferred.
