Job Description

The Bilingual Accountant - Internship will assist the department and employees from the accounting and tax department. Will have the opportunity to put into practice all the theory learned at school. Will learn to work in a friendly work environment while learning different technics to be successful in the career of accounting.

Responsibilities

Knowledge of Quickbooks a plus**

Maintain up-to-date financial records.

Help the manager with all accounting transactions, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, month-end close, and compiling tax data and financial reports.

Ability to file sales tax, payroll tax, payroll returns, and process payroll.

Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions.

Ensure timely bank payments

Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary

Comply with financial policies and regulations.

Requirements

Requirements and skills

Knowledge of QuickBooks

Knowledge of MS Excel skills including pivot tables

Experience with general ledger functions

Knowledge of Tax

Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills

BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree

Bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish is beneficial

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
