At Rani Alfers Farmers Insurance Agency, We provide Auto, Home, Business, and Life insurance to help protect our clients, and their assets.

As a Sales Development Representative, you'll call outbound leads and connect with inbound prospects to generate insurance quotes and drive new business. While providing excellent service, your main focus will be sales, helping match clients with the right coverage and contributing to agency growth through performance-based incentives.

Salary: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

Handle inbound and outbound lead calls and engage potential clients in a professional, consultative manner to identify their insurance needs across personal and commercial lines, including home, auto, specialty vehicles, and business coverage.

Gather and verify all necessary personal and policy-related information, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Utilize internal quoting systems to input data and generate tailored insurance quotes, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and compliance with underwriting guidelines.

Provide a seamless and positive experience that supports client trust and positions the agency for conversion and long-term retention.

Requirements

  • Comfortable working with multiple screens and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous call center or phone-based sales experience is a plus.
  • Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to remain positive and professional when handling rejection.
  • Strong typing skills (30+ words per minute).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Must be at least 18 years old (background check required).
  • Must have reliable transportation and ideally live near the Dallas 75248 area.
  • Candidates must complete an online assessment to be considered for the position.
  • This is an in-office position (not remote), with hours available Monday through Friday between 8:30 AM and 5:30 PM
