At Rani Alfers Farmers Insurance Agency, We provide Auto, Home, Business, and Life insurance to help protect our clients, and their assets.

As a Customer Service Agent, you'll primarily support existing clients, answering questions, processing policy updates, and ensuring a smooth, friendly experience. In addition to providing exceptional service, you'll also be responsible for generating new quotes and contributing to the agency's growth through sales incentives. You'll work with warm leads, existing clients, and inbound opportunities to help match people with the right coverage.

Salary: $35,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

  • Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales
  • Process customer policy change requests
  • Cross-sell additional products such as Life insurance
  • Understanding prospects needs and identifying sales opportunities
  • Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers
  • Explaining and demonstrating the benefits of our services
  • Schedule appointments for sales staff to meet prospective customers
  • Staying informed about competing products and services
  • Having a ton of fun while being part of a competitive team!

Requirements

  • Sales experience or a client-facing background is a plus
  • Insurance experience is preferred, but not required
  • Proven track record of trustworthiness, dependability and ethical behavior
  • Must be coachable
  • Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, and listening
  • Must have strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be motivated and determined
