Job Description

Prewett Pest Control is seeking an experience Termite Inspector/Supervisor for our Gulf Coast market, serving Baldwin and Mobile counties. This position calls for a hands-on professional with extensive field experience, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent organizational and communication skills. The Termite Inspector/Supervisor is responsible for inspecting properties for termite activity, recommending treatment plans, and using chemical and baiting products to control and prevent infestations. This role requires fieldwork, attention to detail, and customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction and compliance with regulatory standards. Compensation & Perks

  • Base Salary: $30k-40k (based on experience)
  • Bonuses & Commission Potential: Average Service Professionals make $45k/year, and High Performers will earn $50k-70k

Responsibilities

  • Perform termite inspections for residential and commercial properties.
  • Identify signs of termite activity, damage, and risk factors.
  • Apply treatments such as liquid termiticides, baits, or physical barriers as required.
  • Drill, trench, and treat soil, slabs, and other areas to eliminate termite infestations.
  • Complete accurate service reports and documentation for each job.
  • Educate customers on treatment plans, termite prevention, and warranty terms.
  • Maintain and clean equipment, tools, and service vehicles.
  • Follow all safety protocols and chemical handling procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and team members.
  • Training and supervise Field Service Professionals to ensure proper compliance.
  • Develop and maintain up to date SOP's regarding the company's termite protection program.
  • Attend training and maintain licenses or certifications as required by state/local law.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient in problem-solving
  • Must be professional in appearance, with excellent communication skills, friendly disposition, and ability to effectively communicate with a diverse population
  • Ability to use required technology and industry equipment
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and pass a pre-employment drug screen, pass MVR, and maintain a clean driving record
  • WDO Licensing/Certification required or must be obtained


Field Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in termite control
  • Demonstrated ability to perform termite inspections, identify signs of infestation or damage, and recommend appropriate treatment plans.
  • Experience working with residential and/or commercial structures, including crawl spaces, basements, attics, and slab foundations.
  • Proficient in applying termite treatments including liquid termiticides, baiting systems, and barrier applications.
  • Ability to assess conditions conducive to termite activity, such as moisture issues, wood-to-soil contact, or construction flaws.
