Farmers Insurance is looking for hard-working individuals to join our team. We are looking for entrepreneurs who want to take control of their life and financial future and become an agency owner with Farmers Insurance. We have seen people from all backgrounds do very well in this industry and a large portion of that is due to the training and financial assistance we provide.

This is a high-level ownership opportunity, not an entry-level sales role. You'll have the chance to build, manage, and grow your own agency with the full backing of an industry-leading brand.

Retail Program: Similar to starting a franchise, you start with a branded office location and staff. Retail agents receive extensive training support through the process and the best bonus opportunities available to Farmers Agent Owners. You’ll be eligible to earn bonuses on top of commission for up to 3 years.

Responsibilities

  • Build and grow a profitable book of business through networking, referrals, and client retention
  • Provide expert guidance on Auto, Home, Life, and Business insurance solutions
  • Lead and manage a small team of producers or support staff
  • Maintain compliance with all insurance regulations and company standards
  • Oversee client relationships and ensure excellent customer experience
  • Develop local marketing strategies to increase brand visibility and market share

Requirements

  • Sales and customer service experience
  • California Property & Casualty, and Life & Health licenses or willing to obtain
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Desire to continually learn new products and services
  • No bankruptcies within the last 12 months, not more than $5000 in collections
  • Favorable criminal record with no felonies
  • Proof of financial assets is required.
