Responsibilities

• Build and manage your own commercial insurance book of business
• Provide business owners with tailored insurance solutions and exceptional service
• Develop strong relationships with clients, local businesses, and referral partners
• Collaborate with other agents to support business insurance growth
• Continuously prospect and generate new business opportunities
• Service existing and renewing business

Compensation:

• Business Insurance Agent candidates can qualify for competitive incentives, including lucrative commissions for business insurance sales and commission renewals.
• A commission split with the Business Insurance Agent acting as a service provider for the full-time Agent
• New business commission

Requirements

• A self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset

• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
• Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
• P&C Licensed required
• At least 1 year of Business Insurance sales experience
• To be eligible for the Business Insurance Agent program, potential candidates must first pass a background check in accordance with current Farmers insurance guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Complete a panel interview with the Farmers District Office in San Diego
• To be eligible for the Business Insurance Agent, potential candidates must first pass a background check in accordance with current Farmers insurance guidelines, policies, and procedures. The background check will cover three (3) major areas: Financial History, State, Federal, and County Criminal History, Regulatory Actions
• Any outside appointments do not present a conflict of interest
