As an Insurance Sales Representative, you will be responsible for building relationships with prospects, answering questions, and providing personalized insurance solutions. You must be able to multi-task and work well in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong desire to help others.

Entry level applicants can expect a base salary of $26,000 per year with additional commission and bonuses totaling $41,000 a year!


Experienced applicants can expect a base salary of up to $34,000 per year with additional commission and bonuses totaling $49,000+ a year!

Responsibilities

  • Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with clients.
  • Conducts timely follow-up communication with clients to address inquiries and concerns.
  • Follow up on warm leads provided by the company.
  • Prospecting/Generating new business opportunities both commercial and residential.
  • Set and achieve sales targets within specified timeframes.
  • Address client objections and concerns to overcome barriers to close sales.
  • Provide comprehensive insurance education and guidance.

Requirements

  • Virginia Property and Casualty License preferred
  • 1+ years of demonstrated success in the customer service industry. Insurance experience is a BONUS!
  • Life, Health & Annuities license and/or Business to Business experience is strongly preferred!
  • Knowledge of basic computer software.
  • Experience typing, data entry, and using a multiline phone system
  • Ability to tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve with attention to detail, accuracy, and speed.
  • Demonstrate professionalism over the phone, electronically, or in person to create a positive work environment and ensure effective communication.
