Position Mission:
The Marketing Manager holds ultimate responsibility for the organization’s marketing activities and oversees the review and delivery of a fully integrated marketing strategy for the business. This primarily involves strengthening the company’s market presence and help it find a “voice” that will make a difference in the Independent Agency Channel.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of professional marketing experience with a passion for the job and the industry to employ unique marketing applications. He/She will be a skilled marketing manager and able to drive creativity and enthusiasm in others.
The goal is to increase the company’s market share and maximize revenues in order to thrive in the marketplace.
Marketing Responsibilities include:
- Implementation of the Brand and Marketing strategy for new and existing products: including campaigns, events, digital marketing, and PR, etc.
- Manage the organization’s brand, ensuring strong and consistent marketing messaging across all companies, programs and channels to build awareness and demand for our products and services that will reinforce its unique value propositions to our target audiences
- Working closely with the company’s Sales team; enabling them to meet their goals by delivering MQLs and providing them marketing support in the form of materials, resources, tools, etc.
- Develop and lead a high-impact team of marketing professionals; providing strategic direction, staff development and coaching based on modern marketing tools, ideas and concepts
- Ensuring that the marketing objectives are implemented by the marketing team
- Work closely with product management and sales team to define marketing materials and programs
- Manage social media presence, thought leadership and programs to improve social media reputation and recognition
- Developing and delivering content marketing and communications strategies for the organization
- Leverage marketing automation tools for greater efficiencies and develop relevant dashboard data to share with the organization on the impact of marketing
- Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends
- Manage the marketing functions of products, placement, packaging, pricing, promotion
- Member of the management team for marketing planning and decision making (includes developing and implementing the overall organizational strategy plans and initiatives)
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned
Independent Agent Channel & Association Needs:
- Lead initiatives to promote the value of independent agents to consumers, insurance carriers, government and other stakeholders.
- Manage the design and development of evergreen marketing materials that can be leveraged by our Independent Agent.
Education and Experience: A bachelors or master’s degree in marketing from an accredited university
- 10+ years of experience in a senior marketing position, leading the implementation and execution with a proven track record of success
- Proven ability to create successful branding programs and comprehensive marketing campaigns that meet business objectives
- Confident, driven and dynamic leader with a entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to spot original branding opportunities
- Experience with Salesforce and Pardot, preferred but not required

Other Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to read, analyze and understand general business/company related articles and professional journals
- Ability to speak effectively and confidently before groups internal and external stakeholders
- Advanced knowledge and utilization of Adobe Creative Suite programs, Microsoft Office programs, Salesforce, Pardot marketing automation tools (email and social marketing systems), and related technology platforms
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
