Job Description

Looking for an individual that wants to be apart of a top performing Farmers Insurance Agency located in South Minneapolis neighborhood. We want you to bring your skills and abilities to make our agency even better.

As an office manager, you will provide excellent customer service for potential and existing customers. You will be responsible for answering insurance-related questions and discussing product offerings with customers to help meet their unique needs. You'll coordinate prospecting through direct mail and personal insurance reviews, entering leads, pulling motor vehicle and claims reports, entering new applications, and submitting changes on existing policies.  You will be in charge of all office administrative tasks.
 

Salary: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

-This is an IN office position.  

-Can handle customer service over the phone in a professional manner
-Greet and welcome clients as soon as they arrive

-Plan and organize client event and other agency events for the year
- Answer multi-line phone system and have ability to forward incoming calls
-Manage client files and enter information into our system
-Able to solve customer problems in a creative fashion
-Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
-Must be organized and maintain a clean work area
-Must be responsible and reliable with a good attendance record
-Familiarity with computers and internet (A Must)
-Ability to multi task
-Partial sales with bonus incentive for cross selling/up selling
-Attitude of leaving the place better than you found it
-Must be a team player and work well with others
-Driven to create the ultimate client experience
-Detail oriented as details is what differentiates us
-Friendly and outgoing demeanor
-Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, comments, etc.

Requirements

-At least 2 years customer service experience in a professional business setting

-Effective communicator

-Property and Casualty insurance licensing is required prior to starting.  I will pay expenses associated with this.

-Life and Health insurance licensing is preferred but not required prior to starting.  

-Valid driver's license

You will work as part of a team in an office setting. The position will work first shift, Monday through Friday 9-5 pm. Work on evenings and weekends may be needed occasionally a few times a year if we do events.
