Job Description

Farmers Insurance is looking for talented individuals to join our top ranked team in the Denton, Dallas, and Fort Worth areas. We are looking for individuals who want to take control of their life and financial future and become an agency owner with Farmers Insurance. You will own your own business, make a residual income, build equity to either sell when you retire or pass down to your family. We have seen people from all backgrounds do very well in this industry due to the training and assistance we provide.

  • Retail Agent: Start with a branded office location and staff. You receive extensive training support through the process, but best of all an aggressive bonus and commission structure. Proof of financial assets required, but you never give a penny to Farmers.
  • Flex Agent: Work out of the District Office. You receive the same training support as the Retail Agents, and also enjoy an aggressive bonus and commission structure. Proof of financial assets required, but you never give a penny to Farmers.
  • Protégé Agent: Provides individuals seeking an entrepreneurial opportunity with access to a 12-month developmental program that will provide an opportunity to become an agent with Farmers. You will work for a mentor Agency Owner and have access to resources that can help you establish skillsets for future excellence, while learning the business and benefiting from a nationally recognized brand. This program does not have a financial asset requirement.

Salary: $50,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

  • Obtaining insurance licenses(s) and staying current on products and industry changes
  • Utilizing 86 years of experience in proven marketing systems, or new methods you may develop, to reach potential customers for our Insurance and Financial Services products.
  • Building relationships with clients
  • Attending networking & sales events, trade shows, and community events.
  • Educating and assisting clients on the value of insurance
  • Creating your daily agenda, meeting and talking with client

Requirements

  • Strong Relationship Building Skills
  • Strong ability to Communicate
  • Sales, Management or Professional Experienc
  • Strong desire to own and operate your own business
  • No recent bankruptcies or major credit issues
  • Liquid assets of at least $50,000
