Our fast paced, growing district insurance office is looking to fill our district marketing specialist position. This position is part time and a wonderful opportunity for college students to intern in an insurance business. Scheduling appointments or calling our contacts for new clients needing new insurance quotes or coverage reviews is the experience. This position offers an hourly wage with an opportunity for advancement after college.. Salary: $13.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Solicits for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
• Prospecting and generating new business through leads & referral sources.
• Call prospective customers by operating VOIP telephones, automatic dialing systems, and other internet technologies.
• Cold call, direct email and perform other lead generation activities.
• Contact businesses and private individuals by telephone to promote products, services and/or referral programs.
• Prospects for new business by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling, and lead databases.
