Higgins & Rutledge Insurance is quickly growing and we are looking for a full-time Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative with insurance experience to join our team. Salary: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• You communicate with clients, carriers, industry colleagues and other key personnel during incoming or outgoing calls that are either self- or agent-directed
• You assist with/ coordinate marketing efforts through timely distribution of applications
• You communicate policy & coverage changes, discuss/ negotiate with underwriters
• You change policy coverage based on changing needs
• You create billings and distribute invoices

Requirements

• Property & Casualty license with 1 year job experience (Preferred - $500 signing bonus)
• The ability to obtain a Property & Casualty License within 90 days
• Working knowledge and ability to competently use agency systems/ software
• Must be well-organized and operate in an organized manner
• Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up
• Ability to tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations
• Must be courteous and aware of the needs and confidentially of clients, carriers, and employees
• Capable of conflict resolution and problem solving; good negotiation skills
