Massage Therapist Manager

Hand And Stone Massage And Facial Spa in Cary, NC has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, passionate, and sales-driven Massage Therapist to join our leadership team. The Massage Therapist Manager is a practicing massage therapist who is also responsible for managing the massage therapist staff and the day-to-day operational aspects of the massage therapist role. This is a full-time position which includes 15-20 hours of session work. We are looking for someone who loves coaching others and helping them become more successful and is passionate about promoting and selling the benefits of massage. And if you have prior management and sales experience, that’s a bonus. MT must have at least three years of practical experience in the field.

Salary: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

• Achieve massage therapist hiring efficiencies
  • Partner with Regional Recruiter and owner to ensure that hiring objectives are met and the best fit for the positions are achieved.
• Achieve massage therapist performance and retention objectives.
  • Manage, Coach and develop each therapist to achieve individual goals in the following areas:
    1. Client survey results
    2. Client pre-booking percentage
    3. New membership conversion
    4. Operational excellence
    5. Personal accountability
  • Establish and execute ongoing skill development and refresher training plans for each therapist.
  • As it relates to Hand And Stone, maintain knowledge of MT protocols and MT policies through online webinars and the online training portal.
  • Work closely with the Spa Manager/Owner to ensure we resolve all therapist related client complaints promptly and appropriately; provide direct feedback and coaching to therapists as necessary.
  • Orientation of all new therapists with the help of senior staff to ensure a smooth and positive transition to the daily work environment of Hand And Stone.
  • Develop with the help of the owner and spa manager effective and timely performance reviews.
• Achieve operational efficiency goals.
  • Be the liaison between MT staff and spa managers/owners for supply issues, equipment issues, staffing issues, etc.

Requirements

2-3 years of managerial experience a plus.

3 years as a practicing massage therapist.

Currently Licensed by The State of NC
