Elder Agency, LLC is a full service multi-line insurance agency where we sell Auto, Home, Umbrella, Commercial, Specialty and Life Insurance. We are a close knit team of hard working individuals that are open and honest to each other, our customers, and our prospects! You will need to be licensed for Property and Casualty in the State of Texas. We offer growth opportunities within the agency as well as training for further advancement within the company.


Salary: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

Must be Property & Casualty Licensed in TX to apply or willing to obtain prior to start date with agency

 

  • Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
  • Solicits for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
  • Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations, and closes sales.
  • Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.
  • Prospecting and generating new business through leads & referral sources.
  • Prospects for new business by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling, and lead databases.
  • Presents and explains insurance policy options based upon prospective client needs and their personal goals.



Requirements

  • Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
  • Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Confident, self-starter who works well independently.
  • Must be highly self-motivated.
  • Follow through and exceed current and prospective client expectations.
  • Be able to obtain or currently possess a Property & Casualty insurance license.
  • Previous work experience in sales, marketing, promotions or telemarketing.
