Job Description

The Blanchard  Insurance Agency, Inc. is seeking motivated, self sufficient, strong people to generate sales and  business with potential and current  clients. We need sales representatives with positive attitudes and fresh ideas to help fill the office. Our Insurance Sales Representatives are responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality, and complete customer satisfaction with every interaction. This involves up-selling features/services to help the customer as much as possible with their insurance needs.

Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, etc.
Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.
Contact businesses and private individuals by telephone to promote products, services and/or referral programs
Provide customers with additional information about new products and services
Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products.
Maintain knowledge of new products.
Foster strong relationships with our customers to maintain a high level of client retention and product loyalty


Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
Be able to obtain or currently possess a property & casualty insurance license
Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
Confident, self-starter who works well independently.
Follow through and exceed current and prospective client expectations.
Be capable of handling customer rejection
