Job Description

GEICO's newest local office in South Miami is looking for a fully-licensed customer service representative to show our customers the value of being insured by GEICO. We are searching for someone who knows the insurance industry well, is extremely solutions-oriented, and passionate about customer service. Our local agency is all about promoting within, and creating a culture that benefits all team members.  If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with opportunities to learn and grow, this is your chance to become part of our winning team.

Salary: $30,000.00 - $38,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

  • Become the liaison between the sales department and existing customers
  • Process customer policy change requests.
  • Complete Evidence of Insurance requests.
  • Account reviews 
  • Immediately greet all customers entering the office in a friendly and helpful manner.
  • Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity.
  • Answer incoming phone calls on the first ring.
  • Data entry/reporting

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year insurance experience
  • FL 440 CSR license *required*
  • Intermediate computer skills including but not limited to: Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, & PowerPoint. 
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish *preferred*
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
  • Professional phone etiquette.
  • Great Customer Service Skills.
  • Problem-Solving Capabilities.
