As our newest team member, you will respond to the requests of prospects and current clients who need insurance for their security and peace of mind. As a Licensed Insurance Sales Representative you will be trained to act as a consultant for businesses and families, evaluating needs and recommending the most appropriate means of meeting those needs.

Responsibilities

• Solicits for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
• Immediately greet all customers, entering the office, in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Verify phone numbers, addresses and email addresses with each customer contact and update customer information.
• Schedule appointments for sales staff to meet prospective customers.
• Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
• Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Be a great self-starter with a strong work ethic..
• Property & Casualty license is preferred .
• Ability to tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations.
• Be equipped with great listening and closing skills.
• Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
• Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
