Job Description

Farmers Insurance offers a unique entry point designed for candidates that are already established professionals:

  • Agency Acquisition Program- You will go through extensive training that will be based out of our office. Opportunity to acquire an existing book of business and start with a residual income right away.This is a six-figure sales/ownership opportunity. Agents are eligible for a $10,000 office start up bonus and an enhanced commission structure for up to 3 years. Similar to a franchise, this is a program that is designed for experienced business owners and executives. Individuals with a history of sales and management experience may also be a great candidate for this program. This program offers a significantly higher than average bonus structure to offset business expenses. Financing is available.

District 46 currently has several agency opportunities around the Greater San Antonio Area including New Braunfels.

Responsibilities

  • Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations, and closes sales.
  • Process customer policy change requests.
  • Secure all Trailing Documents from customers.
  • Immediately greet all customers, entering the office, in a friendly and helpful manner.
  • Grow sales revenue by utilizing phone, email and potential client lists.
  • Provides on-going support to insurance clients as needed.
  • Prospects for new business by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling, and lead databases.
  • Presents and explains insurance policy options based upon prospective client needs and their personal goals.
  • Provide customers with additional information about new products and services.
  • Responds to all inquiries, cancellation requests, and sales requests within a specified time frame.

Requirements

We are always on the lookout for individuals who are looking to take control of their future and if you're interested we would love to speak with you. There are a couple things we need from you though.

  • College degree preferred, but not required.
  • Sales & customer service & management experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented mindset
  • Ability to manage a marketing pipeline and sales funnel
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Desire to be active in community and really help people navigate insurance needs
  • Desire to build a strong sales team to handle day to day operations
  • No bankruptcies within the last 5 years
  • Not more than $5000 in collections
  • Favorable criminal record with no felonies
  • Be willing to work towards getting your Property, Casualty, Life and Health insurance licenses
