This is not an entry-level position. We’re looking for an individual with prior insurance experience who’s ready to take the next step — building advanced sales skills, strengthening client relationships, and positioning themselves for long-term growth within the Farmers Insurance network.

Salary: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

• Solicits and writes new business
• Meets the production requirements and goals assigned by the agent or agency manager
• Maintains monthly sales record and provides a copy for review to the agent and/or operations manager
• Drive and Productivity: Able to bring about great results from ordinary circumstances; prepare for problems or opportunities in advance; undertake additional responsibilities and respond to situations as they arise without supervision.
• Innovation: Accept innovation and improvement recommendations.
• Communication: Acceptable verbal and written communication skills.
• Team Work: Accept feedback when offered and work well with others.

Requirements

• Possession of relevant insurance licenses or willingness to obtain them.
• Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales environments with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
• Familiarity with sales administration processes and analysis skills to interpret client data effectively
• Knowledge of insurance sales practices and benefits administration is highly desirable
• Experience in telemarketing or marketing strategies to generate leads and expand outreach efforts
• Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service in fast-paced settings
• Ability to work independently while maintaining team collaboration standards
