Farmers Insurance Greater San Antonio Area in SAN ANTONIO, Texas, is looking for a goal-oriented, enthusiastic person with a positive attitude to help us sell our amazing insurance products and services as a Full Time Insurance Sales and Customer Service Representative. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn and grow with our agency. Every day you'll be using your strong communication and customer service skills, problem-solving, rapport-building, and time-management talents to ensure you are providing the best experience for your clients.

No Previous Insurance Experience? No problem!

Are you currently selling another product outside of the insurance industry, a student or graduate struggling to decide on a future career, or somebody with no experience who is interested in beginning a career in insurance? This is the perfect fit for you. Entry-level applicants will begin with a $XX,XXX base salary and can earn at least an additional $XX,XXX in commission during their first year.

Responsibilities

Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.

Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.

Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc.

Handle all incoming claim calls from customers and follow-up.

Immediately greet all customers, entering the office, in a friendly and helpful manner.

Take premium payments from customers.

Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products.

Prospecting and generating new businessthrough leads & referral sources.

Generating insurance quotes.

Be outstanding at relationship building.

Foster strong relationships with our customers to maintain a high level of client retention and product loyalty.

Responds to all inquiries, cancellation requests, and sales requests within a specified timeframe.

Develop and implement new marketing and sales strategies.

Attend training and continuing education courses.

Handle customer renewals.

Requirements

Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.

Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.

Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.

Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.

Confident, self-starter who works well independently.

Must be awesome at opening doors and getting appointments from a cold start.

Professional phone etiquette.

Excellent Spelling and Grammar skills.

Great Customer Service Skills.

Works well with other employees and is a team player with a positive attitude.

Ability to adapt to change, learn new things quickly, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Great Customer Service Skills.

Bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish is beneficial.
