Position Overview

Our Licensed Insurance Sales Producer drives new business, supports clients and contributes to l agency growth. This is a full-time, in-agency role for a motivated sales professional who enjoys working in a team, building relationships, closing business, and helping clients make informed and important insurance decisions.

Salary: $33,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Create, present and explain insurance coverage options for prospective clients over the phone or in person in the agency office
• Meet or exceed new business production goals set with the Agent
• Prospect and generate new business through agency-provided leads and referrals
• Ensure all clients feel a strong client relationship of support, service and their needs and expectations are met
• Ensure clients satisfaction and resolve questions or concerns
• Current knowledge of insurance products, underwriting guidelines and coverage changes
• Accurately document client interactions and sales activity in agency systems

Qualifications

• Active Texas General Lines or Personal Lines Property & Casualty license required
• Bilingual Spanish positions available at most agency locations
• Insurance agency sales or customer-facing sales experience needed
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills needed
• Must pass a background check including state, federal, and county criminal history
• Texas General Lines Life, Accident, Health & HMO license preferred but not required

• Base salary plus commission on new business

• Hands-on training within the agency and through the District Office

Physical & Work Requirements

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working on a computer or telephone
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person, by telephone, and electronically
• Ability to operate standard office equipment, computers, telephones and printers
• Ability to lift & carry up to 15 pounds occasionally (i.e. files, laptop or marketing materials)
