This role is designed for individuals with a strong sales focus—those who thrive on closing deals, building pipelines, and turning opportunities into conversions. From day one, you’ll be responsible for generating new business, hitting performance targets, and honing the skills essential to leading a high-producing agency. You’ll gain hands-on experience in lead generation, client presentations, objection handling, and cross-selling strategies that drive consistent results.


This isn’t just another sales role—it’s a clear path to agency ownership. You’ll benefit from expert training, one-on-one mentorship, and the full support needed to prepare for launching and leading your own Farmers Insurance agency.

Salary: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

  • Sales Training: Engage in intensive sales training programs to master insurance product knowledge and effective sales techniques.
  • Lead Generation: Learn to identify and cultivate leads through networking, referrals, and marketing initiatives.
  • Client Presentations: Assist in preparing and delivering sales presentations to potential clients, highlighting the benefits of various insurance products.
  • Client Follow-Up: Develop skills in following up with prospects to close sales and maintain customer relationships.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Participate in strategy sessions to design and implement effective sales tactics tailored to target markets.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze sales performance to understand effectiveness and areas for improvement.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all sales practices comply with legal and ethical standards.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience in sales, particularly in insurance, is a plus.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Personal Attributes: Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a passion for helping clients. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Licensing: Must possess a valid insurance license or be willing to obtain one within a specified timeframe.
