Job Description

We are currently seeking a District Administrative Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to our district office. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of administrative functions within the district, supporting both internal staff and external stakeholders.

Salary: $30,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute internal communications, memos, and reports.
• Maintain accurate records and files, both electronic and physical.
• Assist in the preparation of presentations, documents, and meeting materials.
• Provide support for district events and meetings, including logistics coordination and minute-taking.
• Assist with basic accounting tasks, such as expense tracking and invoice processing.
• Serve as a point of contact for inquiries from staff, clients, and the public, providing excellent customer service at all times.
• Perform general office duties, such as filing, copying, and data entry.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Proven experience in an administrative support role, preferably in a district or regional office setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles is a plus.
