Don't wait take the next step in your career today. The Farmers Insurance District Team in Pocatello is seeking a motivated and dynamic Personal Lines Sales Consultant to join our growing team. This high-impact role is designed for someone who thrives in both performance and mentorship blending sales strategy with training and development.

You'll work closely with our district team to identify new customer and sales opportunities, craft effective outreach strategies, and promote our exceptional products and services. At the same time, you'll play a key role in mentoring new talent, sharing best practices, and helping others succeed.

If you have experience in marketing, business operations, sales, or telemarketing and you're a natural connector with a passion for coaching and a hunger for achievement this is your launchpad.

Salary: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a pipeline of personal lines clients through B2B outreach, referrals, and community engagement.
  • Deliver consultative sales presentations and close new business with confidence.
  • Serve as a local leader and resource for best practices in personal lines sales.
  • Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
  • Maintain knowledge of new products and services.
  • Prospecting and generating new business through leads & referral sources.
  • Generating insurance quotes.
  • Cold call, direct email and perform other lead generation activities.
  • Prospects for new business by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling, and lead databases.
  • Presents and explains insurance policy options based upon prospective client needs and their personal goals.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Coach and mentor new producers | agents on sales techniques, product knowledge, and client service standards.
  • Collaborate with the District Manager and Team to drive growth and retention for the district.

Requirements

  • Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful.
  • Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.
  • Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
  • Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.
  • Career-minded vision.
  • Prior Sales Experience preferred but not required.
  • Possession of a Property & Casualty insurance license is required. (or a willingness to obtain one). Licensing Assistance Available.
  • Possession of a Life & Health Insurance license is required., (or a willingness to obtain one). Licensing Assistance Available.
  • Previous work experience in sales, marketing, promotions or telemarketing is helpful but not required.
  • No insurance experience required but must be willing to learn.
  • Bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish is a plus but not required.
