Job Description

Well established Energy Corridor area Allstate office is looking to hire the right individual to fit right into our team. We are currently seeking to fulfill a full-time position. Our Customer Service Representative will be responsible to provide exceptional customer service to our current clients and new prospects, processing policy change requests, maintain knowledge of our products, and answer any questions our clients may have.  Commission opportunities for cross selling within customer base.

Insurance industry and insurance office experience is required.  Allstate experience is preferred.  Base plus commission.

Salary: $20,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

  • Process customer policy change requests.
  • Immediately greet all customers, entering the office, in a friendly and helpful manner.
  • Take premium payments from customers.
  • Ask each customer for referrals and explain our referral program.
  • Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products.
  • Verify phone numbers, addresses and email addresses with each customer contact and update customer information.
  • Answer incoming phone calls on the first ring.
  • Return all phone messages promptly.
  • Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Be outstanding at relationship building.
  • Follow up with customers to assure satisfaction, respond to queries, solicit further sales, and solve or refer problems.
  • Foster strong relationships with our customers to maintain a high level of client retention and product loyalty.
  • Provides on-going support to insurance clients as needed.

Requirements

  • Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.
  • Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
  • Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.
  • Confident, self-starter who works well independently.
  • A Property & Casualty license is preferred but will train good individual.
  • Professional phone etiquette.
  • Career minded vision.
  • Excellent Spelling and Grammar skills.
