Job Description

Growing local independent insurance agency seeks an experienced Commercial Insurance Customer Service Representative to work in their Tallahassee, Florida office.  A Florida 2-20 insurance license and experience with the Applied EPIC Agency Management System is preferred. Â Salary commensurate with experience.

Salary: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will handle day-to-day contact and insurance transactions for existing Commercial Insurance customers of the agency.  Also, will work with an experienced sales agent providing support service in developing and marketing insurance coverage for new opportunities.  Will trouble-shoot some client issues with insurance companies.

Requirements

Prefer a Florida 2-20 licensed individual with experience in the Applied EPIC Agency Management System.  A Florida 4-40 licensed CSR would be considered.  Good computer, verbal and writing skills are needed.  Competence in Microsoft Word and Excel is a plus.  The ideal candidate would have a Bachelor's Degree and five years' experience in a Commercial Insurance customer service or insurance consultation role.
