Job Description

When clients purchase insurance from Choice Insurance Agency, they can rely on the fact that Choice will be there for them when they experience a claim.  Our claims advocate’s responsibility is to be a resource to our clients when they need us most and to ensure that our clients receive a positive claims experience and a favorable outcome for their claim. Our claims manager creates meaningful, impactful, positive results for our clients.

Salary: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

  • Work with clients, insurance companies, claims adjusters and claims vendors to advise, submit, and coordinate our clients’ claims activities to facilitate positive outcomes for our clients and maximum claims satisfaction
  • Assemble a “rolodex” of problem solvers and develop and maintain relationships in the repair center and contractor industries 
  • Some local travel and activities outside normal business hours to be available for fire scenes or claims scenes, providing reassurance and rapid response co-ordination with our preferred vendors
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation on all claims situations and interactions with clients, adjusters, and claims vendors in the agency's client management system 
  • Manage our claims service standard operating procedures
  • Work with our sales team to promote our claims services to clients and potential clients in an effort to win new clients
  • Professionally answering phones and routing calls as necessary
  • Provide excellent customer service

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must pass P&C License exam within 60 days of hire 
  • Clean DMV Record (for possible access to branded company vehicle) 
  • Be able to read and understand policy language and be familiar with coverages and deductibles
