The Receptionist/Billing Specialist will be responsible for answering phones, taking messages, receiving payments, calling/texting clients for late payments, sorting and distributing mail in addition to greeting clients and visitors to our office. You will also be in charge of notifying employees of visitors showing the guest to different areas of the office. To be successful in this role, you will need to be coachable, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and competency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel. Prior experience in insurance billing or as a receptionist is also helpful. Bilingual is a plus (Spanish).

Salary: $14.00 per hour

Responsibilities

?        Maintain an organized filing system of electronic documents

?        Uphold a strict level of confidentiality

?        Develop and sustain a level of professionalism among staff and clientele

?        Assume the responsibility of receiving and sorting incoming payments with attention to credibility

?        Demonstrate active listening, rapport building, empathy and solutions-focused problem solving when engaging with clients and staff.

?        Assisting Service Agents with effectively identifying other needs in client conversations so we can connect with our other departments to assist (i.e.: Life, Benefits, Title, Business).

?        Greet clients and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude.

?        Assist clients in finding their way around the office

?        Announce clients as necessary

?        Assisting with a variety of administrative tasks, including copying, faxing, taking notes, etc.

?        Professionally answering phones and routing calls as necessary

?        Provide excellent customer service

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience
  • Proven data entry or admin assistant experience
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
