If you are motivated, ambitious and can Perform Diagnostic, Troubleshooting, Maintenance and Repair services on all makes and model vehicles foreign and domestic. Be an expert and stay up to date on the ever changing and modern world of automotive technology. Chrysler Level 3 certified in all categories. Be fluent in electrical and computer diagnostics. Communicate professionally with the service team, co-workers and customer during the vehicle diagnostic and repair process. Understand and prioritize maintenance schedules for manufacturer recommended maintenance. Salary: $50,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

— Review repair orders for customer complaints and isolate customer complaints.

— Communicate information to the service advisors pertaining to results of diagnosis.

— Perform a thorough 27 point inspection of every vehicle assigned.

— Provide accurate notes on findings to the service advisors.

— Diagnosis and Repair of automobile systems including but not limited to: engine, fue(possible Compressed natural gas), exhaust, cooling, lubrication, electrical (including hybrid), transmission, chassis (including wheel and tire), brakes, suspension, HVAC (Certified in Air conditioning), starting and charging systems.

— Provide estimated labor times related to all proposed diagnostic, testing and repair to the service advisor.

— Speak with customers and perform ride alongs to isolate certain customer concerns.

— Maintain all required certifications and Chrysler level training.

— Remain current on the frequently changing automotive technology. Obtain training, certification and knowledge to remain the expert on the Fiat, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram brands.

— Have a valid and active New York State Inspection License and be able to perform New York State Inspections upon hire.

— Have a valid driver license. Test driving vehicles to isolate the concern of customers is a required task within the job description. On occasion to be sure customers receive 100% satisfactory customer service we may also transport customers locally to work or home while we are diagnosing or repairing their vehicles.

Requirements

Level 3 Chrysler Certified in all categories

— NYSI (new york state inspector certification)

— ASE Certified preferred

— Valid state driver license

— Ability to perform the physical nature of work

— Minimum 2 years of experience in the field and required certifications.

— High School Diploma or GED minimum. Trade school, CAP training, certification or degree preferred.

— Ability to work a set schedule which includes nights and weekends due to the demand of business and customers needs.
