Job Description

The Bilingual Sales Assistant plays a vital support role in the sales process by assisting licensed producers with quoting, client communication, and follow-ups. This position requires fluency in both English and Spanish to effectively serve and support a diverse client base. The Sales Assistant will also help manage lead flow, prepare documentation, and ensure all sales activities are efficiently executed. Salary: $24,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

Assist Licensed Sales Producers with quoting and proposal preparation.


Communicate with clients in both English and Spanish to gather information, explain documents, and follow up on pending tasks.


Input and update client information in the agency CRM and carrier systems.


Track leads and assist in managing the sales pipeline.


Support referral campaigns and Google review requests.


Begin learning underwriting guidelines and start licensing preparation (General Lines P&C and Life & Health).


Shadow sales producers to understand the full sales process.

Requirements

Fluency in both English and Spanish (verbal and written) is required.


High school diploma or GED (required); college coursework or degree preferred.


12 years of experience in sales support, customer service, or administrative roles (insurance experience is a plus).


Must be comfortable speaking on the phone, texting, and writing professional emails in both languages.


Strong attention to detail and ability to follow up on tasks independently.


Basic computer proficiency, including CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and web-based tools.


Must obtain General Lines Property & Casualty and Life & Health Licenses within 90 days (agency will support training).


Reliable, punctual, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.


Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a desire to grow within the agency.
