Job Description

We are looking for an experienced commercial lines account manager with a minimum of 3 years experience to manage the insurance and bonding needs of transportation and construction related businesses. You will be responsible for coordinating policy issuance, mid term changes and preparations for renewal.

As an account manager you will be a key part in establishing work flows with support staff and producers. An exciting opportunity that offers a chance to grow and be creative.    

Salary: $60,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

The salary range is an indication that includes a base, commissions and bourses and is commensurate with experience 

Responsibilities

• Analyze and process renewals
• quote new business opportunities in house
• Assemble submissions and process to insurance providers
• Field underwriting questions 
• Pro actively work with the producers
• Discuss policy changes with the client
• Execute policy chnages
• Manage claims 
• Manage the processing of registry requests 
• Resolve billing questions 
• Collaborate the revision of work flows with you peers

Requirements

• Hold a Massachusetts Property/Casualty Producer License 
• Demonstrate a high level of continuing education within the field of insurance
• Well versed in the coverage needs of a trucker and contractor
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Able to develop rapport with your underwriters
• Have a good understanding of agency work flows 
• Command of insurance agency operating systems
• Have the skill and will to teach others
• Disciplined and hardworking 
• A steady hand during chaos
