Job Description

This position can be remote, in-office, or a hybrid - whichever works best for you. Office hours are Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm CST. A work computer and necessary hardware will be supplied. 

PURPOSE: The purpose of the Sales Agent position is to provide an extraordinary and professional experience for our customers by giving them outstanding service and care in every interaction and helping prospects and our customers to protect what matters most to them. The Sales Agent works directly with the Agency Manager and/or Sales Leader to achieve the sales goals of the Agency. Sales Agents are also Producers and are responsible for assisting in management of specific processes ensuring the accomplishment of all goals and expectations, and  servicing existing clients when necessary. 

LICENSING REQUIREMENTS: Every Sales Agent must have their Property & Casualty (P&C) license prior to being employed with our agency. The cost of this license is to be incurred by the Sales Agent. Every Sales Agent is strongly encouraged to also obtain their Life and Health (L&H) license within 180 days of employment. The agency is willing to assist with licenses on a case-by-case basis. 

MINIMUM PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: Performance requirements will be determined by the Agency Manager and will be updated monthly with any changes. At a bare minimum, a Sales Agent is expected to follow the CWC Pyramid of Minimum Expectations translated into 2 sales, 8 quotes, or 80 contacts per day. Sales Agents are expected to spend at least 70% of their day on Sales and limit their day to 30% on Service.

You will receive outstanding training and support with our sales department and will be provided with every resource necessary to be a successful sales representative, and the journey will be a thrilling ride!

Salary: $53,658.00 - $106,806.00 per year

Responsibilities

  • Make outbound contacts (calls, voicemails, visits, emails, texts) to obtain and work with prospects.
  • Have financial services discussions with customers during interactions to generate a minimum of 1 Kept ALR Appointment per week. 
  • Work lead lists and audits as assigned using the lead management system following the rules and guidelines as set by the Sales Leader and/or Agency Manager. 
  • DAILY CWC TRAINING IS REQUIRED.
  • Upon the close of a sale, follow all agency procedures regarding processing, systems, and operational procedures. 
  • Make the Agency Manager aware of any situation which should be monitored due to a client having suspicious or frequent claims.
  • Follow-up on all new business clients, have life insurance and financial services discussions, and ask for referrals.
  • Attend all office meetings to plan professional growth and to address concerns, upcoming classes and any updates.
  • Always work towards improving office efficiency and controlling expenses.
  • Cross-sell existing clients following the “lead with review” process. 
  • Perfect compliance with all Allstate and Jamison Agency guidelines, policies and procedures. 
  • Handle service work as necessary. (Although we are a specialized office, occasional service work will be necessary.)
  • Actively review, improve, and increase product knowledge skills. 
  • Assist other employees as necessary (initial training, questions, general assistance, etc.)
  • Any employee with a social media account (such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) must “friend,” “connect” and “follow” the Jamison Agency owner, sales leader and/or agency managers.

Requirements

Complete Jamison Agency Application Process:

  1. Submit initial assessment, including personality, problem solving, and short answer (~15-30 mins)
  2. Complete initial Phone Screen Call with Recruiting Assistant (~15 mins)
  3. Complete Video Screening (~15 mins)
  4. Complete Initial Interview with Agency Owner (~1 hr)
  5. Complete Team Interview (~1 hr)
  6. Additional screenings/interviews may be required depending on candidate pool and open positions.

Skills Required:​​
