Job Description

The Office Manager will organize and coordinate office administration and procedures, in order to ensure organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and safety. They are responsible for developing intra-office communication protocols, streamlining administrative procedures, inventory control, office staff supervision, and task delegation.

Energetic professional who doesn't mind wearing multiple hats. Experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support-related tasks and able to work independently with little or no supervision. Well organized, flexible, and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting an office of diverse people.

Salary: $45,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

  • Manages the daily activities of the offices, with duties such as insurance claim processing (home, auto, life, mortgage, etc.), marketing, auditing, loss prevention, and underwriting.
  • Keeps team members engaged and motivated.
  • Provides updates to the owner regarding operating results, insurance trends, and competitor methods.
  • Leads agency meetings and informs the team of announcements, celebrations, company topics, and sales numbers.
  • Hires, trains, and monitors the performance of new insurance agents.
  • Ensures clients are having excellent customer service.
  • Ensures sales process is followed by team members.
  • Analyzes sales data and develops plans to address gaps.
  • Acts as advisor to sales team regarding prospects, quoting, and closing transactions.


  • Minimum 3-5 years Independent Agency experience
  • Property & Casualty Insurance License Required
  • Experience using Hawksoft agency management systems is strongly preferred.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, patient, able to handle pressure, and multi-task.
  • Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
  • Bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish is beneficial.
